Setting up domains with MailEnable Open the Mailenable applet found in the Mailenable program group.
As shown above right click Post Offices and then select New Post Office.
Above, the post office dialog box opens. The post office name is generally the domain name. A post office can have many domain names however such as when a customers has .COM, .NET and .ORG all of the same name or even completely different names. It will ask for a password for the postmaster account.
Next back at the admin interface, right click on your new post office and select properties.
On the properties page select the Web Admin tab as shown above. Check the "Enable Web Administration" box. This allows your client to add users etc to their domain. Check the box that says "Can create and Edit mailboxes". Max number of mailboxes is just as stated. It's the max number of mailboxes this account can create. Max and default mailbox size options are unlimited or you can put in a value. Unlimited is not recommended. Somebody that's mail bombing you could literally fill up your hard drives and crash your server. Note: in iMail the mailbox quota setting was in bytes. This is Kilobytes so the value is greater. The default of 5000 is a 5 meg mailbox. Edit this to fit your needs. The "Can select mailbox size up to default" allows your admin user for this site to select a value other than the default. What it really means is that they can't go above what you set here but they can select a lower value for certain mailboxes. Can create and edit lists allows your customer to create mailing lists. You can set the max numbers of lists they can create and max number of email addresses each list can have. Can add and remove domains allows your admin user to be able to add or remove mail domains. It is not recommended that you enable this feature. A user may delete the wrong mail domain and it will remove all mailboxes etc.
